I am stationed over here in Germany, and there are tons of cool and different LED's in use. Speaking with some of the Germans buying bulbs in the local Hela (same as Home Depot), a few told me they would not use CFL's becuase of the "mercury" factor. Then again, Germans tend to be more eco friendly than us, and will spend the extra money on the better product for the environment. Here is a website that I was thinking of ordering some lamps from. They are both 110 and 220 volt which is a awesome thing. I can use them here and back there in a couple of years.
