You still want the Fujitsu H line or the add on pan defroster for the Mits of similar specs

Those are impressive specs for that price, matching the 2nd to last gen of each of the major makers at nearly a $500 discount.
The recent gen of each model has pushed the heat performance for how we would use it.

One thing I saw on an energy forum to look at is the range/curve in which the models run. It noted the Mits had much larger range, ie could operate at lower output.

On the third winter of heat pump only and this winter has been much more hospitable to it's limits.
They still struggle during long cold snaps with constant defrost and lower spec output, and the energy savings drop far below the cheap natural gas.
