One side effect could be skin cancer. I still have the burn scars on my back
from spending too many hours in the sun.
Since I grew up in Texas, I didn't worry about the sun during the two years
I spent in Bermuda (April 1963-April 1965). The weather there seemed mild.
But the sun was just as hard on your skin. (This was before sunblock).
