I've been checking the time against this PC's RTC, right after doing a clock update from time-a.nist.gov (Gaithersburg, Maryland).
I was very surprised to see a difference of 1 to 2 seconds.. But then later, no error.. ( or less than 0.5 sec).

And, I've also been watching the time display on my FIOS cable box.
When that STB clock clicks off a minute, this second hand is always on 12:00
This watch and the STB seemed to be perfectly in sync..

This is leading me to believe that sometimes my PC RTC update isn't
the last word in accuracy..

I'm going to check out one of my GPS units.. Might be a better way..

Bottom line, I think this watch is going to pretty danged accurate..

Edit:
The time display on both of the Garmin GPS units that I tried read 3 seconds fast..
The Fios STB, PC(synced) & watch are all 3 seconds slower than the GPS..
If the watch maintains that 3 second gap for a few days, I'll be very happy..
