5 is okay for normal Boston area weather. But won't be able to handle this global warming weather.
I think down to Zero would do it for now.

I was just out pulling a few tons of global warming off the roofs..
The backyard Sanyo is now completely buried under about 4 feet of GW snow.
And it's surrounded by deep snow, that you can't walk in, you have to make
a ditch to walk in.. It takes too much work..

But, we aren't going to need it, since it will be 8F in a few hours. And zero before morning.

It's hard to walk in waist deep snow that's mostly light powder. With hard layers.

If this had been heavy snow, half the houses in MA would have collapsed roofs by now..

I lost a snowshoe on the way out the fixed panel array.
I noticed the missing snowshoe, when my left foot suddenly broke a hard layer and I dropped 3 feet..
Up to my bellybutton.. Of course I fell backwards and sunk.
I was over my head, sitting in a little snow pit.. It's hard getting out of a hole,
when you get old and dumb.. Never gonna do that again..
If the snow covers up the PV, then so be it. It's God's Will..

We can't shovel off the deck, under the railing, because there is no room left.
The snow is piled up to the deck floor level. I was trying to stomp some down,
and fell backwards a few times.. What a PITB.

This reminds me of my of the Blizzard of 78.. That spring, we went house hunting in Austin Tx..
I had a dream.. Even put down a down payment..
