A mac address is trivial (even standard practice) to spoof. The public ip address is least likely to be fake but still do-able. If you leave your wifi open at least you have "plausible deniability". But it would be best to double up the routers. Example, after the open wifi router have another router locked down properly for your own traffic. Open wifi is the easiest path to infection there is these days.
