I got a bigger welder. A miller model 250, which is a dialarc 250. It weighs around 350lb.
I did a minor power factor correction, two 55uf motor caps wired Lto N on each line, reducing consumption by about 2.2 amps across the entire operating range.
Installed miller receptacles like on my HF box, input voltage gauge and surge protection.
It didn't come with leads so I put 35 foot long 2/0 cables on it. Plus I can now use all my smaller 1ga down to 6 gauge leads that I use on everything else that have miller Jacks on them.
