I hate running the boiler.
There was a little puddle of water under my oil boiler this morning. I'm hoping it's because the basement was down to 47 and the steel shrank?
Some of the older boilers that were installed around here in 1956,
would leak when they got real cold.
They needed to be kept warm so the parts wouldn't contract and allow
water pressure to seep past the seals.
