Just an update. Today the Suntuf acrylic had arrived and this is probably the most expensive part of the project. I think by the time we have everything together it might be a little north of $1k.
I need to get moving now on the copper but the day job is extremely busy.
On a side note the little 2 Ton homemade Geothermal was cranking out the BTUs (Calories) Shop started in the morning at 11 DegC. Noon a comfy 20 DegC.
Can't wait to get the two together- the solar with the Geo back-up.
