Last deal I jumped on was $0.78/W for panels and inverters shipped to my door. I've seen them for $0.09 less since then... The cross country freight truck shipping cost the equivalent of 2.5 panels with inverters.
The National Electric Code compliance paperwork will cost me the equivalent of 1.5 panels + inverters. I'm still working out the cost of a ground mount capable of withstanding a 3 second gust of 170mph... However, that cost factors greatly into the expense of installing panels where I am in the US versus other locations. For another install of mine (in a different climate), I need to come up with a ground mount capable of withstanding 100mph winds and upto 100" snow loads.
