Default Look what I can do

I am currently working on finishing the basement in the split-foyer home that my girlfriend and I purchased. We recently ran out of studs and we needed more to finish the framing. When we got our first load of lumber (103 boards) we called my dad to come over with his pickup and help us haul it home. He lives ~20 minutes from the store, and our house is another 8-10 minutes from the store. Last night we went to Lowes and picked up 20 2"x4" x 96" studs and hauled them home in my car, so we did not need to have my dad waste his gas and time coming to help us.

This may not sound like too big of a deal, but here's a picture of the car that I have:

The Honda Fit has a really good method of folding the seats out of the way. We folded down the passenger side rear seat, creating a flat cargo area (on the passenger side of the car) then scooted forward and laid down the passenger seat as much as possible. I placed my winter blanket on the dash for protection and a towel in the rear where the bottom lip of the hatch is and put the boards in there like so;

Not bad for a sub-compact car
