With packets having unique MAC numbers, I think your example is a little far fetched.
My actual concern is that too many people self-censor and don't do really brave things, or interesting things, or perhaps really kind, charitable things (as jeff5may is doing) because they imagine adversarial scenarios that keep them living as prisoners of their own fearful fantasies.
