These things are awesome! I got 3, they could not be easier to use. Just don't forget to erase the data each time because it will NOT write over data. Also every time to plug it into the computer it sets the clock.
Its easy to set the recording time and interval. Then just put the battery in and hit the play button.
I double bag them and drop them to the bottom of the pond on a piece of 3/4" pvc. I have left them for over a week with zero water damage. I wouldn't put them in water without a bag or two on them though.
I needed either this or some logger with a long wire. I couldn't find one, so this is the route I went, and I'm sure glad I did.
BTW, amazon said it did not come with a battery, but mine did.
