I've read through this thread and thanks for all the information! Just this week I finally succeeded in getting the permit to proceed with my solar installation from my city (they certainly didn't want to make it easy to do). I have an electrician who I'm going to have do the main parts, but I'm planning to do the installation of the panels on the roof myself.

I'm installing a 6.38 kW system with 22 REC 290 Watt panels, SolarEdge SE7600a-us grid tie inverter, power optimizers, & Snap 'N Rack mounting system.

Roostre, I saw you live in Utah, which is where I live too (in Utah County) and I'm wondering if there's anything you'd do differently now in hindsight, whether working with Rocky Mountain Power, city inspector, or the installation/equipment?
