So they made a little over five bucks an hour. Not bad.
To me, gardening is a lot like fishing. I like the
idea of gardening (fishing), it's just not high enough on the priority list during this stage of my life to engage in it. Maybe after we're done raising the kids...
Every year the wife wants to plant a gazillion tomato plants (OK, about 8-10 usually). Then at the end of the season she loses interest and leaves them to dry up and rot. Women. Can't live with 'em and you can't shoot 'em.
