I have decided to cover the inside wall and gable ends with R-15 3.5” Roxul rock wool reaching an R-40 total.

The downstairs ceilings are 10’ high.
I’m using 10’ LSL’s which are a manufactured 2x4
They cost more but are straight, good luck getting a straight 10’ lumber yard 2x4
