Silicone works well for glass but keep it away...
Silicone works well for glass but keep it away from copper! the acidic acid in the silicone will eat way at copper, it might do the same with aluminum, not sure, you can buy more expensive silicone...

If you think they are good and want to pressure...
If you think they are good and want to pressure test them to higher pressure I would solder unions on, using each half on each end of the panel, then make up a cap and tire valve on unions as well so...
