On the builditsolar site he has an entry on the netting. If I remember correctly they put it up tight then went out and rolled glue on each stud using a small paint roller to glue the netting down...

I believe that concrete board is smaller due to weight. 3x5 I'd assume has to do with around tubs? The surround on my tub is 5' long by just under 3' wide. and 5' tall all the way around.

my used polyiso has some sort of paper backing that looks a lot like tar paper. I've never seen anything other then this but polyiso isn't the most common up here.
