I really like mine and do think its worth the $200. It is really nice for measuring loads that I can't get to with the kill a watt. Things like ceiling fan use, heating system, electric ovens, etc....

The one thing I really don't like about the TED...

The one thing I really don't like about the TED 1001 was the resolution on the watt usage is 10 watts, the 5000 is 1 watt.

You can get a non-computer readout for the 5000, but it costs another $40.
