PV wire how many strands..

Going to use 12 AWG PV wire for making extensions. The JASolar panels have 12 AWG wire and it appears to have 65 strands. When looking to buy 12 AWG PV wire it has 7 strands. The panels use QC4.10...

PV connector crimpers

Haven't started my solar project yet but I do know at some point I will have to make a few connections to allow a longer run from the panel to inverters.

Just purchased panels.

It was nice to see all the feed back on the type of panels everyone is using and I finally bought my panels from Civc Solar.
Renvu was giving me a hard time. I bought (44) JA Solar 370w panels...

I have been looking at Renvu for awhile now and they have good prices but you should look at CivicSolar. I am getting ready to pull the plug on a grid-tied 14kw system and will keep this forum...
