If you build one you can make 16 columns of 17 cans per column. After I built mine is when I realized that I could have went the extra. Behind the cans I have a 3/4" foil backed styro foam.

This is my first winter using the popcan heater....

This is my first winter using the popcan heater. The coldest days the temp would go up about 4-5C this would be on the shortest day of the year. It seems to work out to about a 1C temperature...
