You mention a 15 amp disconnect, but I believe those 2 ton require a 20 or 25 amp breaker do they not? Maybe my mind is slipping after 5 mini split installs.......

Yep, that is where my downstairs LG 30K is the superstar. It can remove over a gallon of moisture per hour! Puts my Grees and Senville to shame and they are decent.

Regarding vacuum pumps, I got my $50 one off of Amazon and it works great. Use the money saved to buy quality hoses and gauges. You do not want to buy cheap there.

Yes. I had the lineset and drain through the wall and connected them to the IDU which was laying on the top of a ladder. The I rotated the IDU up onto the mount. Not my favorite install!
