Yes me too! I actually perused here a few times in the past. Don't own a house so i really say i care about utilities. However keeping my room warm with insulation would help!

So i heard i could get stuff here. I won't spam to get more entries though :)

That should read "don't care about utilities" cause i never see the bill, so don't i know my energy consumption. Here in new england though heating is a big deal. I have 5 large windows in my room that suck heat out compared to a wall. So my room is much colder than the room the thermostat is in. I wouldn't mind blacking out all but one, and filling the interior of the window with an insulating material.

A nice, inexpensive option is putting bubble wrap on (yep, on) your windows. That way you still get light, but also get some insulation.
