Battery bank you my pop up trailer

Hello, i would like to build a small battery bank for pop up trailer.

I would like to know how to compare power from deep cycle lead battery vs a battery bank made from nissan leaf battery for example.

how to get equivalent of this specification from a leaf battery bank for example.

Capacity 20hr: 105AH

would like it to be the size of a group 31 battery

so i pack like this one

2kWh Lithium Battery Pack Chevrolet Volt - 47V/47Ah/12 cells
https://evbatterycenter.com/HAC4/ind...lls&Itemid=605

so how can i compare thos to the deep cycle bettery rating of Capacity 20hr: 105AH

convert to kWh. compare kWh. then Ah/voltage doesn't matter.
Also remember practical capacity - li-ion drawdown regularly to 20%, charge up to 80%, rinse and repeat, SoC doesn't matter in that range.
lead acid likes to sit at 100% SoC, doesn't like regular drawdowns past 50%. so for a battery you are going to exercise regularly, lead acid should be 2x the size of the li-ion battery in kWh.

Ok so my lead acid battery is 1.26 kwh.

If i understanf correctly with lion battery i will be able.to use more of its capacity and the battery will survive longer.

Do i loose alot of efficiency going from 48v to 12v?

if your Li-ion battery is 2kWh, and your lead acid is 1kWh, then your deep cycle capacities are closer to 1.6kWh (80% DoD) and .6kWh (50% DoD). in effect, the li-ion battery is around 3x larger, if you are treating them nicely.

losing efficiency - what do you plan on doing?
strictly from a power conversion standpoint, you will lose some energy in a switching power supply vs using it at 48v or 12v, but I don't see that as being a serious concern.

so i think i will go with the 1kwh 24V pack from the volt.

The idea is to use this in place of the deep cycle battery to run all the 12v equipement so just light and the propane furnance for offgrid camping.

so to begin it will be the battery pack, DC-DC converter, a BMS and home charger.

Later i can add a solar panel and charge controller if i understand correctly this battery will be able to keep more energy from the solar panel since il accepter high curent charging.
