Hot Water on Demand

Has anyone had any experience with these?

S-50T D'MANDŽ System

I've heard of tankless water heaters before, but never something like this.
Input anyone?

It looks like it does the same thing as turning on the hot water on the faucet, except that it doesn't let the water go down the drain.

The "off sensor" automatically shuts off the pump and closes the zone valve when hot water arrives at the system.
I don't think I could justify $339 for this. It only heats water in the line and then allows the hot water heater to take over with it's already heated water (or water "being" heated for a tankless). We try not to waste water but sometimes we do by allowing the cold water to go down the tubes but at $339, it definitely puts this thing at the bottom of the "to do" list.

I would build a grey water system before I bought this to at least use the water lost waiting on the hot stuff. Only my opinion. At 2-3 gallons a pop, using the water for flushing toilets would conserve more water than this would. I don't have any numbers on that so don't quote me. lol
