Toilet Lid Sink - Gaiam |
Yeah, they have those everywhere in Japanese homes, pretty smart and useful.
|
It really makes sense...
|
Well DUH.
Man why didn't I think about this. Does it just run with the toilet fill? Or is there some sort of selection valve? |
what i can figure is you flush... the water from the tank goes through that spigot, and then in that drain and into the bowl that's being flushed. but yea... neat.
|
That is freakin cool! definatly would save water. Everyone washes their hands when they flush.......right???

Great idea. It saves space too! I plan on eventually converting our walk-in closet into a half-bath, as we only have one bathroom in the house. This could entirely eliminate the need for a seperate sink. If I only need room for a toilet, that would allow us to save most of the rest of our storage space! |
Ben-you need to see the Swiss army bathroom.
I started a thread over in other improvements with a link. |
Do these systems allow you to run the faucet without flushing the toilet?
|
I really like the idea of this, but remember what you learned when you were young, that you should use hot water when washing your hands to kill germs. So remember if you just poo'd and washed your hands here, you probably shouldn't be chewing those finger nails.
