Any suggestions for graph/chart software?

Has anyone found a good graph plotting software, something that accepts .CSV files and plots them with the ability to zoom in and out to look at parts of the graph more precisely.

Thanks Steve

Downloaded a installed and un-installed a load of programs trying to find something suitable, finally found DBPlot.

It mostly does what i need although it is not the most obvious user interface and there appears to be no help or tutorials.

Any other suggestions??

parse your csv data into any common spreadsheet (aka excel) and you can do about anything with the data.

I've taken voltage and current csv files from a scope plot, put into excel, and generate hysterysis curves.

You can even make up equations to match your data, etc..
Too much to give a tutorial here, find an online guide for spreadsheet operations.

I use Libreoffice. There's also Python (requires programming experience) and Octave.

Thanks guys
i've been using Libreoffice and still use it to add column headers and remove/adjust rogue data from my CSV files however for visualising it's not great.
The ability to zoom in on a day or hour of data then be able to scroll forward and backwards in time is so useful when you have a long term datalog(or high speed logging).
I know it should be possible to create this functuality in a spreadsheet, but the time involved and having to modify it every time i add new sensors to the system is not worth it.

I'm currently implementing the control system for my ASHP to under floor heating and hot water tank.
Without the datalogging i would never have spotted several issues effecting efficiency and possibly destroying the heat pump.

Thanks for the suggestions
Steve
