Looks like you will need at least 2 stages to treat your well water. First stage to remove iron and sediment, 2nd stage to remove the salt. Anything that will flow 75 liters per minute is going to be super expensive.

If you're trying to filter 4.5 cubic meters per hour, a reverse osmosis machine would have to be colossal to process that much water. In one day, you say you are going to use 108 cubic meters? That's like 10000 US gallons. Most single-family homeowners don't use that much water in 3 months!

This is obviously a maximum output value. Unless you're growing rice, you shouldn't need anywhere near that much water for 1/2 acre of land.

Thank you for your reply. I agree that to filter and clean all the water that my well produces per hour will be very expensive. I just want to filter and clean say 500 litres per week during our harsh summers rather than use expensive high quality water that I have on tap.

See its a older thread . But if you want to get the iron out . You can build a green sand filter . Or They may sell them . As far as the salt only way i know of gettin salt out of water would be distill it or get a different filter . Th average person uses 50-75 gal of water . Check around with drillers to find out where the potable water is. Drilling a deeper well may be way cheaper in the long run and plugging that money pit .
