I like conserving. Energy, resources, whatever, there's no reason to waste...ever. I like solving problems and making things, and using off-the-shelf components for creating new systems or equipment. I'm owner-building a dome house (still building), and have converted 4 diesel vehicles to run on waste vegetable oil from local restaurants, 2 of which I've driven for 5 years now. $3 a gal gas, my eye!
