Quick, easy, PV mount
Plans for the garden include irrigation, pond aeration, and an electric fence around the apiary. The power will come from PV/batteries so I thought I'd get on with putting a panel out where it will do some good. This crude mount provides convenient coarse adjustment of panel angle. I thought someone might find the idea useful.
An 8" sonotube, 1/2" rebar, and concrete take care of the support: http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...psurr1w9th.jpg I had an antenna tower section so on it went: http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps8y0fkgc1.jpg Inexpensive lumber yard eye bolts serve as hinge 'barrels'. A small project... but it's finished :D http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...psrgz4pzyn.jpg |
