Temperature of mini split
I was checking the heat that comes out of my Fujitsu mini split with an IR gun. To my surprise it only measured 78*-79*. I thought it would be hotter. I tried a few time with the same results. It was about 20* outside. It keeps the house nice and warm. Any one else measure the temp from their mini split?

It is 40 deg here the LG units are putting out 120 deg and the Gree is putting out 119 deg.

I rechecked the temp of the mini again. This time I shot the IR gun up inside instead of from 5 feet away. The temp was 95*-100*. 30* outside. I wonder if that's the right temp. It keeps the house plenty warm but takes a little while to heat up when turned up.

Then it's probably "right sized" when you're used to "oversized" units.

I was shooting the IR into the mini split maybe 3 foot away. If you have a inverter model it will ramp up and down based on what it needs to do.

Ill check mine once i finish installing it . Just waiting to get a vac pump and finish runnin wire
it says inverter so im guessin it will vary |

I bought that el cheapo 17 seer kozy kool i had seen. I figure if i get 2 or 3 years out of it it i will be happy and it will have paid for itself. But if it last longer thats perfectly fine with me .Plan on later on buying a quad zone for the whole house once the money tree gets big.
