I agree with Ryland on the PV panels: "I would not give them up for anything, making yourself energy sufficient gives one really good feelings." There's nothing quite like watching your utility meter spin backwards! Priceless! :D

It must be nice to have one of those old 'spinning disc' meters.

If I made some extra juice, my LCD meter wouldn't care,
it would charge me for it, thinking I was running the toaster.. :eek:

The biggest charge for me is pouring a morning cup of coffee, made using PV electricity.
