Radiant floor temp.

I was wondering what tempature you guys are useing for radiant floor heat?

Sould I have a tempering valve on each floor loop? Or just run buffer tank at a low temp? It's set at 90 now, down from 105.

The reason I lowered the temp was to try and stop the house from over heating... temp will run 2 deg. past set point.

I'm in the process of designing my radiant floor, as are others here.

Could you share technial details of your radiant floor with us, and photos if possible?

Did you DIY your floor & feed water system?

A tempering valve allows better use of the heat in the buffer. The only reason to keep the buffer cooler would be heat loss, but I'm assuming it's got a thick layer of insulation on it, so that shouldn't be a problem. Is that buffer tank heated with the heat pump, or something else?
