I'm getting email notifications for new posts

I'm getting email notifications for new posts and in my user control panel I've selected the NO EMAIL NOTIFICATION option. What's going one?

Are you subscribed to the thread?

I'm automatically subscribed to every thread in which I leave a comment.

I checked my email account after not having used it for a long time and it was inundated with ecorenovator emails. I then went to my CP and enabled the following option:
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

Default Thread Subscription Mode: No Email Notification
To me that reads plainly obvious. I will be subscribed to a thread but I will not be emailed notifications of activity within that thread.

I did this weeks ago and I was still getting email notifications on new activity. This leads me to suspect that perhaps this feature hasn't yet been enabled by you in some fashion.

Even though I enabled this feature weeks ago I was getting emails right up until 3/30/12. I just checked that account today and there was no notification for anything since 3/30/12 including this subscribed thread, so perhaps you've already fixed the issue.

Well, I haven't changed anything. Let me know if you continue having this issue and I'll look into it further.

Go into the User CP and click list subscribed threads. Then click on the select all check box and delete the ones you are already subscribed to. Then change the default option to something else and then back to No Email Notification again.
