Adding a spool gun to a Hobart 140/135

The Hobart 140/135 did not come with spool gun ready. That is the one thing I wish it did.
Will here is a video on how to convert it to handle a spool gun.

I know a couple of you have a 120V Hobart welder this might be interesting to you.
I might build a Big Green Egg table aluminum is probably the best material for this stand.

Idunno, man. Anything under 200-250 amps I have welded aluminum with, I have burnt up. I even torched one of the new pulse Millermatics last year, not even using pulse. Push pull gun with a whip. On smaller/pretty jobs, I would much rather TIG weld aluminum, given a choice.

When you say burned up. Are you talking about what you are welding or the welder?

The welder. That millermatic just rolled out the magic smoke one day. I think it was a 350P. The dealer just swapped it out for another for who knows how much.
