Rebadged Pioneer mini split

I have two Pioneer mini splits in my house, and so far have been very happy with them. But as we hit record temperatures one of them quit of course. :(
I did a diagnosis and the likely culprit is the main control board in the outdoor unit. I've e-mailed HighSeer and Parker Davis to try and get a replacement, but so far no reply.
Does anyone know who really makes these units as they are sold as both Mr. Cool and Pioneer.
If I can find out the real manufacturer and how many other makes it has been rebadged to I have a better chance of finding replacement parts.
Alternatively does anyone have a full schematic of the control board so I can trace the fault at the component level.

Model numbers and manufacturer info would be great to start off with...

Here's a link to your service manual:

And the illustrated parts breakdown:

Both are pdf download links.

What's up with the unit? Looks like it should be showing error codes if it's not just dead.

I already have the service manual, and the error code is E1, communication error.
My original question is still, who actually makes these units, I don't believe it's Pioneer, they buy them from a manufacturer and rebadge them, just like Mr. Cool, whose units look identical, even to the point of the installation manual being the same identical.

Welcome to the right to repair movement. The service manual looks to be better than average as to troubleshooting walkthrough and deciphering where to look. Good luck finding a board view or a schematic.
