Good underdoor weatherstripping?

I don't have much time to poke around the home improvement store to pick out products, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a good weatherstripping for under doors? The front door to my apartment has a pretty horribly .5" gap and not only is it wasting energy, but it makes the living room rather cold...

Thanks!

Does the door threshold have one of those half-circle gaskets that pushes against the bottom edge of the door? If not you could replace the threshold with a gasketed version. I've also used a "sweep" gasket that attaches to the door and brushes against the floor. Both of those methods work pretty well.

A well weather-stripped door can make a HUGE difference in air loss, heating bills and comfort. I've got three exterior doors that are each sealed in different ways depending on the door and how well it fits in the door frame.

I think I'll go with the sweep version since it's not my door and it seems like an easier install, :)

Oh, and while I'm thinking of it

I can understand not wanting to hang around a big-box "home improvement" store, but don't you have a REAL hardware store nearby? I think spending quality time in a hardware store could be the most rewarding and soul enriching activity available.

Tongue only slightly in cheek,
