That's a little less than our highest usage months here in TX. IIRC our highest usage was around 2000kwh two years ago. It was quite hot with the highs in the 115* range and lows around 85* and an average daily temp around 90* or so. (doesn't cool off at night like deserts do) The AC runs about 20hrs a day when it's that hot as the manual J temps are lower than actual historical numbers for here resulting in undersized equipment. Many citys have started to state their own temps which reflect the local climate ie 100-103 vs 99* for the high and 17 for the low.

Your usage is just amazing.
When you post this I wonder how many people live in your house how big is it?
Do you have natural gas or propane? Do you have, use or need AC.

I love solar in the spring. May is really shaping up. We are @550 KWh what a great start for the month.

Natural gas stove/oven, water heater and furnace. Clothes dryer is electric.
I have a 2 ton(22k compressor) 8.5 SEER air conditioner and it usually runs a minimum of two hours in the three hottest months of the year. Most days between 2-4 hours, some of the hottest days 6-8 hours. I swapped the shaded pole motor in the furnace out with a higher efficiency but still low cost PSC motor. (I measured about 740cfm at 396 watts).
I usually live in the lower level but not the basement where the temperature is usually in the 74-76 with that sort of AC usage. I turn off lights when I leave rooms, I don't run the oven after the start of June through the start of September. I use a laptop instead of a desktop and I turn it off when I'm not using it but it is usually being used at least 8 hours a day on days that I'm not at work.

Some other things that aren't tied to electric usage such as not having the stove on high when you've got a pot of boiling water over it in the summer. Never do that, great way to make your AC usage go sky high caused by two reasons. If I make thin pasta(7-10 min recommended on the package), I use an electric kettle to boil the water, pour the water in the pan with the pasta, run the stove for one minute on high or until it starts the starch foam, turn off the stove completely, return in 7 minutes and your pasta is cooked.

Even with having natural gas your electric usage is impressive.

Wow . My useage of last month was 250 kw hours and i thought i was doing good. But everything i have is electric also. 2 people . 1100sq ft insulated r30 insulated roof and walls have nothing.
So far this month ive pulled 75 kw hours already.
I plan to do my pannels pretty soon.

We drive our Chevy Volt 80+ EV miles a day during the school year we use about 500KWh a month just putting fuel in my car. But the gas savings is real and adds up fast. This is about as good clean driving as I can get.

We have driven 21,250 EV solar power miles so far.

we have used 356.4 KWh so far this month but we have made 653.5 so we are doing good.
180 KWh of that went to the car.

:( My dryer alone has probably pulled 60kWh this month. It was averaging about 3kWh/day and I'm about 20 days into my billing cycle!

Fortunately, the sun has dropped 365kWh on my roof in the same time frame. :)

My dryer is a white fiber optic wire i got strung behind my house:D. I dont even own a dryer.
