Anyone live in pennsylvania doing any diy drilling or wanting drilling

Is there anyone in Pennsylvania that has done any drilling before what type drilling do you guys have

Yes. South central PA. 6-8 feet of red clay then down to at least 800 feet solid limestone. This was true of my main well and has held true on the first 3 geothermal bore holes. See my posts in the last few pages of "DIY well drilling / trench digging for GSHP"

Likely different where you are as only 12 miles away a buddy of mine just had his well drilled and hit no limestone at all and no red clay.

Regards

Its a big state. I'm sure there are a variety of different things to drill through.

If there were places where they wasnt as much rock i could bring my small rig and dig up there. But rock does best with a pdc or hammer bit . I dont use a air rig.
