any rules of thumb for sizing hot and cold side area/mass

Hello All,

I really curious how large a passive cooling loop should be for an air source heat pump.

The idea is that I have a lot of space and may be able to size a passive cooling loop to pair with heat storage and solar collectors.

I'm curious about 2 different sizes one would be a 6,000 btus to 12,000 btus an the other between 100,000 btus and 200,000 btus.

I think one part of the problem may be easy which is determining the thermal movement between the 2 loops.
I worry that I don't know anything about moving the refrigerant under pressure.

Thanks for all the things to consider,

Ben
