Remote operated thermostat
 

We have a Honeywell Vision pro 8000 T-stat. It was recently installed and has a lot of features that the consumer model doesn't have. Does anyone have experience with a add on for the T-stat that would allow remote viewing and control of it?

If no body is going to be in the office, then we would like to remotely turn down the heat.

I also have the Vision Pro 8000. The Vision Pro 8000 has been around for a few years, but has changed a few times. If the model is made before 2014, then they don't appear to have a way to hook up to the Redlink box to connect to your router for WIFI that you can add on from Honeywell.

If your office had the Wifi version installed, it would be included in the unit and you would just need to add the Redlink box to connect to your router. Can you find out which Vision Pro 8000 they installed?

That thermostat looks really nice. Will have to look into that a bit more.
