My toilet already has a "two-flush", sort of...

When we bought the house, I noticed you have to push really hard to make the flap open all the way and get the full flush.

Otherwise, if you don't push all the way down hard, the flapper drops back down as soon as you let off the handle.

Apparently, this is due to a mis-adjustment, but since it allows me to have both a "full-flush" and a "partial-flush" - why fix it!

Most people simply don't know how much water they use, so it's easy to waste! Any means of measuring it can help us conserve.

If you have a well and a septic tank, perhaps adding a water meter coming in off the well would help.

If you have a municipal utility, it should say right on the bill how much water you use.

I have neither... kinda. I have a well, but use city sewer. They don't meter my usage. I just pay a flat rate.

Nice job Ben, that setup gives you a lot more space to work in. I may have to borrow your table idea as well.

That's a frigidaire frontload washer isn't it? That's the exact same one I have...from what I can see. We love ours.

Yep, the washer is a Frigidare, the dryer is a White-Westinghouse (same manufacturer)

Tim, I have done some work for Badger Meter, one of the biggest water meter manufacturers in the country. They are on the north side of Milwaukee.

Maybe we can tell them how eco-friendly we are trying to be and get a well meter donated to you!

That would be great!
