Hello from BC, Canada
Hi! I'm Quest.
I'm an avid DIYer and am particularly into high efficiency/energy conservations and such. Recently, we bought a house (built 2004) and it runs on hydronic radiant floor heating. I've been trying hard to improve the energy efficiency (replacing all light pots with CFL retrofits, etc., re-seal most air leaks around the door seals, power outlet/switch wiring box, etc.) to save on the ever mounting energy cost... Regards, Quest-TD |
Hello Quest, welcome to EcoRenovator:)
Hydronic floor heating is quite efficient, especially if used with a heat accumulator and/or heat pump, so you're off to a good start. There is a thread on DIY hydronic floors going on, btw. |
