Stealth 0.8 GPF / 3 LPF toilet

Just wanted to mention this one as I think its really cool. While doing the blog articles for all the giveaway donators I came across Niagara Conservation's Stealth 0.8 GPF ultra-high-efficiency toilet. Its got some cool technology integrated into it. Mainly, it has a sealed tank which gets pressurized when it fills up. That means when you flush, the water gets shot out by the pressure. It also passes the standard flush test by twice the weight that is required by a toilet to flush. They have a short video on the linked site that explains it better.

It isn't horribly pricy either. A google shopping search shows you can pick one up for $308 shipped.

I've heard about this pressurized air thing somewhere (on ER, most likely).

Now, how about a DIY version!

I think its doable. The hardest part will be sealing the tank though. Having a moving lever that seals to the inside of a tank would be hard to deal with. A push button wouldu be much easier, but still not a piece of cake.

I thought that they said it was not a pressurized tank, it has a float valve as well, but that looks to be outside of the rest of the mechanism so I have to wonder if that is an over flow safety, the one pressurized tank toilet that I've looked inside of had a leak so the ceramic tank would fill with water as well.

Yup, the tank itself is not pressurized.
