I look forward to your production numbers.

I just posted about my installation here http://ecorenovator.org/forum/solar-...html#post55119 and that post has some pictures of my installation.

It gets better, the thrill of diving an EV you charge from that 10k system. But wait until you get over the excitement of watching that meter spin backwards. That takes awhile!

I still smile when I look at my TED 5000 in the kitchen and see the PV array generating more than the house is using (meaning my meter is "spinning backwards"). Not sure that ever gets old.

Ah I'm not the only one still running a TED 5000. Who knew. LOL Love seeing negative numbers, I'm at $-.73 today for usage. August bill projected $15 and dropping. Last month due to heat and rain my bill was $65 save $135 with solar.

12.5 kW array we generated 1,717 kWh August 2017
We made 141 more kWh than we used. My oldest son is learning to drive in the Volt so we charged the car more this month than normal.

August 2017= 1,717 kWh
August 2016= 1,716 kWh
August 2015= 1,873 kWh
August 2014= 1,915 kWh

Highest one day August 2017 = 79.1 kWhs
Our system lifetime production is 83 MWh

We used 97 Kw more than we made.
We have 1,223 Kw banked for the winter.
We have drove our car more this summer and used more power.

Other solar producers show us your numbers for August when you have them.

12.5 kW array we generated 1,728 kWh Sept 2017
We made 296 more kWh than we used.

Sept 2017= 1,728 kWh
Sept 2016= 1,662 kWh
Sept 2015= 1,475 kWh
Sept 2014= 1,371 kWh

Highest one day Sept 2017 = 79.1 kWhs
Our system lifetime production is 74.5 MWh

We made 296 Kw more than we used.
We have 1,529 Kw banked for the winter.

Other solar producers show us your numbers for Sept when you have them.

MN Renovator 10-04-17 12:00 AM

3.36kw system
September 2017 377kwh
43kwh purchased from the utility, the air conditioning ran 77 hours in September, using roughly 2.3-2.5kw most of the time, usually this is an easy month to overproduce because the AC almost never runs but it was hot and the air was very wet.
