Looking for a temperature data logger

Does anyone know anything about temperature data loggers? I have lots of upcomming stuff that I really want to collect info on and it would be incredibly useful and sometimes necessary to track temperature over time. The units I've googled seem to be quite expensive. Any ideas would be great.

I know you don't want to build anything, but...

Well, that doesn't look too difficult. Except, I've never done work with the Arduino before. Doesn't it require some sort of programming board/interface? I'd also need at least two of these. I'd like at least a two channel data logger, four channel would be better.

The *duino has multiple inputs (digital & analog). So you could probably make it run multiple sensors on a single board.

You program it by hooking it up to your computer. The interface is a program you download from their site.

Well, after hunting around the duino I think is going to be the way to go. The other options are just way too expensive. Theres nothing that would work for what I want for under $100. I'll post progress on this when its avaliable.

I have seen this one (sorry in French, but there is some graphs) :
Enregistreur USB longue durée température et humidité - T°, %RH et point de rosée pour Diagnostic de Performance Energétique (DPE) ou autre - 64.50EUR- achats éconologiques

It saves up to 16000 points with temperature and humidity. You configure the time between the records from 2s to 24h.
Velleman sells in US but I don't know if this recorder is sold in US.

Denis.
