I don't think I'll bother rerunning the ducting. My eventual plans will lead me in the direction of hydronic (solar) heated floors in all rooms of the house. Once that is in place, the forced air system will simply be a backup. Until then, I'll live with it, or turn on the electric in floor heating that is currently installed in the kitchen.

Hig, how do the prices compare at your local shop compared to online?

About the same...maybe $10 more each (which is including taxes). Although the prices we saw were US and this was CDN. My brother in law is going to come and help me install it.

FYI, from the looks of the site's FAQ section, be careful when installing it. It sounds like they might be noisy. I'd take measures to avoid any rattling/vibration that could go on with it.
