Plumeting Solar PV Prices

According to USA Today, the price for a solar electric installation could be halved this coming year. This is due to a drop in incentives previously provided by European countries, and increased incentives from the US government.  In previous years, solar PV systems were heavily subsidized by European countries leading to a boom in the solar PV industry. Now, with subsidies cut, manufacturers are cutting prices to keep sales going.
If you’ve been looking into solar PV systems in the past but were dissuaded by the big price tag you may want to take a look again.  You might find this is just the thing you were waiting for.
