Living in the Woods (Really!)

Let’s be honest. Ever since Lord of the Rings, you’ve wanted to live in Frodo’s hobbit home, right? I know I have.

Anyway, it’s been a while since I first saw this site about a low impact woodland home, but I think it’s worth discussing. The home, besides being in Wales, is completely DIY, cheap, and completely awesome. Outside of living in a tiny home, there’s not much better out there for low impact design than this place.

As you can see in the construction, this house it not based around processed building materials. Rather, it’s as natural and as respectful of available resources as can be.
