Greenpeace Releases Green Electronics Guide

by Tim Fulton on September 17, 2008

Every year, treehuggers like myself wait patiently for Greenpeace to release their guide on green electronics companies. Well, it’s finally happened for 2008, so if you’re interested in the details, check them out here.

The guide has a lot of stuff related to cell phones and other mobile devices, which aren’t directly related to greening up your home, but this guide can still be useful if you’re replacing electronics and looking to minimize the environmental impact of your choices. Many of the companies, like Dell and Apple make computers, TVs, and other power-sucking home electronics, and as we all know, conservation is the first step to lower your environmental footprint. Check it out.
